Wedding Photography Timeline 

 

3 months to 1 year before wedding: Book your photographer. Meet and discuss wedding packages, plans and general photography goodness.

 

3-6 months before wedding: Do engagement and bridal shoots, order pictures, frame pictures, stare intensely at pictures.

 

1 month before wedding: Phone/personal chat with photographer to go over final details.

 

2 weeks before wedding: Pay your photographer.

 

Day of wedding: Get married.

 

2 weeks after wedding: Online pictures are posted in order gallery. Send this to friends and family.


4 weeks after wedding: DVD with full resolution pictures delivered. Pick out favorites for album.

 

4-6 months after wedding: Wedding album will be proofed online. At that point make suggestions or corrections. Album is then sent to the printers for printing within 1 week.

 

1 year after wedding: Happy anniversary! Invite photographer over for stale cake. (OK, I totally made that last one up)

 

3-? years after wedding: Show wedding album to children.

 

20-? years after wedding: Show wedding album to grandchildren.
